I’m offering a BRAND NEW Course launching the week of January 29. Snap to Cloud is a small group step-by-step four-week course meeting on Zoom for one hour to create your cohesive photo library. Snap to Cloud helps those with limited tech knowledge accomplish a big goal. You will learn how to move all your photos off of old computers, hard drives, flash drives, CDs, and wherever else they might be stored! and get them all to your Photo Library. You will have homework to complete in between classes, and in four weeks – you will have a photo library that contains all of your digital photos using Amazon Photos in addition to having your entire library backed up on an external hard drive.

This class is designed for those who need a little or a lot of hand-holding to get all their photos in one place so you can put organizing your memories behind you and so you can get on with enjoying your memories.

FAQs

I’m not tech savvy. Do you really think I can complete this course?
This course is for anyone intimidated by tech, cloud services, and harddrives. I believe that together we can get it done. I will walk you through each detail you need to make your project happen.

Will the meetings be recorded?
Yes!! But I highly encourage you to prioritize attending live to continue your momentum.

What other costs are involved?
Each participant will need to purchase an Amazon Prime membership to receive free unlimited photo storage + 5GB of video storage. This is a yearly fee of $139. You may need additional video storage – which starts at $19.99/year for 100GB of video storage. You will also need to purchase an external hard drive (a 2TB drive for about $60 will serve most students) as well as possibly additional tools to retrieve photos from memory cards, old hard drives, CDs, etc.

Do I have to use Amazon Photos?
Yes. This course is designed specifically for people interested in using Amazon Photos to streamline the process and make it as simple as possible. If you are interested in taking a similar course using a different Cloud Service Provider, tell me about that by emailing suzy@ivytooak.com.

I only own an iPad and a phone. Can I do this course without a computer?
Are you able to borrow a computer to help you do the transferring work from old media to the Cloud? Unfortunately, this isn’t the right fit for you.
